Skills and Experience

Gijs joined Cromwell in 2021 and is responsible for the acquisitions and disposals within the Benelux region. Before joining Cromwell, Gijs spent 11 years at JLL and Cushman & Wakefield in various roles including Director Capital Markets and Leasing. During that period, he has been involved in c. EUR 5bn of Dutch real estate transactions.

Gijs has a large international network with the brokerage community, investors and developers in all risk segments. He is responsible for the sourcing of suitable product and unlocking off-market opportunities, including in-depth underwriting and modelling. Gijs holds a Master of Law degree from Leiden University and University of California.
